PLANET FLEET
Gameplay
Futuristic sci-fi naval RTS, set on water planets, being fought over by the Earth's superpowers. The arsenals of the warring factions include various ships: cruisers, super-armed carriers, submarines, even special ships, such as freezer vessels. Moreover, land units, such as mechs, tanks and mobile artillery platforms are used. Additional game mechanics include:
- economics: players collect raw materials from finite deposits on the map to refine them into resources, needed for building and unit creation and maintenance. Resources may also be traded on the market, that reacts to the player's success in battle.
- research: certain buildings allow the player to research technologies for benefits, such as stronger units. Higher end technologies get more expensive, forcing the player to make the best choices for their situation.
Development status
Planet Fleet is currently a tech demo, meaning that the main technical aspects have yet to be fixed to make the game a pleasant experience. The project is being worked on with the goal of providing a fun RTS game.
